So as you may have seen I am trying to touch different genre, but I could hardly do a Costumed series without going for the traditional ghouls and monsters of Halloween, so I decided to try my hand at it. I already owned my costume which was a mummy “Nefertiti” costume. The floor-lenght, long-sleeved  dress came with a beautiful head piece, but I’ve decided to make it a more traditional mummy.

This looks require a white shawl, one pin, and a wrap of gauze. If you wish to make this look zombie-esque, use older shawl or fabric and clothign and use some fake blood from a halloween store.

STEP 1 – Place the shawl on your head AND forehead about 1/4 of the way
STEP 2 – Fold the side of the scarf just above your ear on each side
STEP 3 – Bring both ends under your chin
STEP 4 – Wrap the longer end in front of your chest
STEP 5 – Continue wrapping until you have reached the end of the shawl, secure with pin
STEP 6 – Wrap the gauze around your head scarf for a more mummy-esque look
