All tied in!

Peace and blessings,
Allhamdullilah (Thank God!) I have finally got a job and will be starting on Monday. first and foremost that means that my time might be limited BUT I will do my level best to continue posting at least twice a week. This ALSO means that I’m going to be focusing my hijab styles towards professional styles. Therefore, here is a style I’ve come up with which turns a shawl into both head coverage and a tie! I wear this style without volume and use one shawl and a bonnet under-scarf!

STEP 1 – Place the shawl on your head about 1/3 of the way
STEP 2 – Twist the longer end of the shawl to bring the bottom of the shawl up to your chin
STEP 3 – Pull the longer end of the shawl (twisted) behind the shorter end
STEP 4 – Wrap the longer end over your head and pin at the top
STEP 5 – Pin both ends of the shawl under your chin with a safety or snag-free pin
STEP 6 – Take both ends of the shawl into a tie:
                 a) Pull the longer end behind the shorter end
                 b) Lift the longer end in front of the shorter end
                 c) Pull the longer end between the top of the shorter and longer end to make a knot
                 d) Pull the longer end to the side
                 e) Wrap the longer end across the knot
                 f) Pull the longer end behind the knot
                 g) Pull the longer end through the loop created at the front
STEP 7 – Take any extra fabric from around your neck, lift behind your head and secure with a pin
