Common but colourful

Peace and blessings everyone!

I always advise that you take styles and make them your own. Here is how I am taking a common scarf style and giving it colour and personality! This style uses a square scarf but could easily be done with a wide shawl. Instead of an under-scarf, I am wearing the Basic Scarf Bun to add volume. For other ways of creating volume please see the tutorial

STEP 1 – Fold your square scarf into a triangle
STEP 2 – Place the scarf, centered on your head with the fold facing forward.
STEP 3 – Tie the scarf behind your left ear
STEP 4 – Tie the scarf behind your right ear
STEP 5 – Take one end of the scarf and pull across your neck
STEP 6 – Wrap the scarf over your head and pin it
STEP 7 – Take the other end of the scarf and pull it across your neck
STEP 8 – Wrap the second end over your head and pin it

***You now have a very nice commonly-wrapped head scarf,
the next steps only add to the overall look***

STEP 9 – Add two small head bands: below the bun in the back and flat on your forehead in the front
STEP 10 – Add a flower broach to the headbands
